Hey, if you are here because of that personal vent post about a minor pet peeve of mine that somehow went viral, please know I am about as annoyed by that as I am by people chewing with their mouths open. It isn't a big deal, I was just mildly annoyed. I want to ask you to please delete your reblog of it. Please. The amount of hassle I have gotten for daring to be mildly annoyed in a personal post is troubling and I never intended that post to be anything more than me expressing mild annoyance here, on my own personal blog. I also want to apologize if you tried to ask me a question about it sincerely and I wasn't as polite as I could have been. I've been getting nonstop childish hateful anons on here ever since I made that personal post, and I unfortunately have allowed that to influence my behavior towards all anons. My apologies.

As for who I am, I am thirty, a huge nerd, queer, demisexual, a feminist, anti-capitalist, Jewish (Ashkanazi), a New Yorker, someone with ADHD (like my father before me), and quite unabashedly me.

I have a Masters in Social Work, as well as a Masters in Interdisciplinary Jewish Studies. Occasionally I go off on rants on matters relating to those, so errr... be on the look out for those?

This blog contains posts both nerdy (my main fandom rn is Star Wars so expect a lot of that, but I also post a bunch about Revolutionary Girl Utena, Dragon Age, Steven Universe and many many more) and political in nature. This is an incomplete list of some of the ships I may post and/or reblog content for/about.

I also post A LOT daily. As in my queue is set to 72 posts a day (3 an hour) and I post often outside of that as well.

I do a Star Wars Podcast with captain-janegay. It's called Laser Brains.

On Laser Brains the two of us try to achieve a new understanding of the Star Wars universe by consuming, reviewing, and discussing canon works in chronological order (with supplemental info from guide books as well). We also try to keep our conversation as "spoiler-free" as possible, not revealing things that have not yet happened within that fictional universe as we talk about it.
